The Puri Hotel in Malacca is a place where one would want to spend a few days, because of its history and beauty. Before being a hotel, the building was a Peranakan house, which belonged to a wealthy philanthropist named Tan Kim Seng, and that explains the beautiful decorated facade and the length of the house.

The hotel is located on 118 Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, Melaka 75200 Malacca Johor and South, Malaysia, and it offers standard rooms, superior twin/double, superior triple, superior quad, deluxe double, junior suite, family rooms and also Hibiscus Suite and Heliconia Suite. The prices begin from $140 and go up to $500, depending on what type of room you choose. The check-in is at 3pm, and the check-out at 12 noon.

The general facilities offered for the 73 guest rooms and 9 suites are according to its needs. A Galeri Cafe and Puri Lounge can be a nice place to drink your coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening, and you can top it all with a walk through the Sekaya Garden. The room service is available between 11am and 10pm, and you will also have access to internet in the Lobby, Cafe and the Garden.

All the rooms have bathroom ensuite, air conditioning, color TV and complimentary bottled mineral water, and you will also receive the daily newspaper to keep you in touch with the news world wide.

If you want to visit the surroundings, the Butterfly Farm and Kampung Mortem, the living museum, are all Malaysian attraction, near the Puri Hotel.
